We’re looking for a Dental Hygienist to join us on either Tuesdays or Fridays—whichever fits your schedule best. Hours are flexible and can be tailored to your availability. In this role, you'll perform initial patient screenings, clean teeth, remove plaque, and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care. You'll also collaborate on treatment plans for gum disease and other dental conditions. We're seeking someone reliable and trustworthy, with strong skills in identifying oral health issues and a solid understanding of safety protocols. Job Description What You’ll Do:
• Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.
• Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.
• Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.
• Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.
•Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs.
• Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.
part-time $40 - $45 per hour
Salary based on Experience.
